Made to order
All of our products are made to order. This means that we maintain minimal inventory and that each item is only made once an order is placed. This reduces waste, which is more sustainable and good for our planet.
Since our products are made to order it can take 2 to 3 weeks before an order is shipped to you. If at any time you have any questions, please email us at info@atelierleyla.
What makes us Sustainable?
Our fabrics are natural fibers that are breathable such as linen, tencel, cotton, and cupro. We also use dead-stock fabrics which are leftover fabrics from other designers.We do not use synthetic fibers that come from plastics. Our goal is to use only 100% GOT and OEKO -Tex organic certified fabrics for all of our garments.
Some of the fabrics we use are deadstock. Deadstock fabrics are leftover fabrics from other fashion houses. Instead of sending the excess fabrics to landfills, we are able to prolong the life of these materials and turn them into beautiful garments.
Our buttons are made from corozo nuts and have a natural dye process. We decided to use corozo nuts for our buttons as they are natural and biodegradable.
The zippers we use for all of our garments are made from recycled plastic water bottles. We wanted to use recycled materials to reduce waste.
Our packaging is cardboard boxes that can be recycled and our tissue paper is 100% recycled kraft paper. Our lovely stamp uses a soy based ink. We also use paper tape to reduce the usage of plastic. Our operations utilize digital platforms to minimize the amount of paper used, which in turns helps our environment.
